Ingredients

  • 16 oz. New York Strip Steak

  • 2 Tablespoons of Olive Oil

  • Fresh Rosemary

  • 1 Tablespoon of Garlic

  • 1 Teaspoon of Sea Salt

  • 1.5 Tablespoons of Dark Roast Rub Spice Blend

  • 1/4 Cup of Red Onions

Instructions

  1. Season steak with salt, garlic, rosemary, red onions, 1 tablespoon of olive oil, then coat with 1.5 tablespoons of dark roast rub spice blend. Place on a wire rack set inside a rimmed baking sheet and refrigerate to marinate for at least 3 hours.

  2. Take a large skillet and pre-heat to medium heat. Take your remaining olive oil and add to your liking enough to coat the pan. Cook Steak for 3 minutes on each side to make a good crust.

  3. Preheat oven to 400°. Once steak is coated nicely on each side transfer steak to oven. Cook steak to your liking or to achieve medium rare for about 5-7 minutes.

  4. Next, place steak on a cutting board and allow to rest for 10 minutes.

  5. Lastly, slice, garnish with remaining rosemary and serve to your guest and enjoy!!!
